Dr. Danita Thompson – Ph.D., LMFT, BCPCC, ACS

Dr. Danita is the founder and clinical director of Mending Hearts Family Counseling. Mending Hearts has served a diverse population of individuals, couples, and families since 2011. Dr. Danita holds an M.S. degree in Education from Long Island University, an M.A. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, and a Doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision from Capella University. Dr. Danita is a Board-Certified Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She has over 35 years of committed and dedicated experience providing counseling and mentoring and facilitating professional development workshops and seminars throughout NY and NJ. Her pride and joy, and first commitment begin with her family and desire to lead by example, being a wife, mother, sister, and friend. Dr. Danita has a passion for and specializes in developing healthy marriages and families. As a born-again Christian, she loves incorporating the Bible and Christian principles into the counseling process for those clients who so desire. Dr. Danita has advanced training in parenting, marriage matters, EMDR, and Christian counseling.
Quaitra Bynum- Ma HSC, BCPC,
Quaitra provides administrative support to the Mending Hearts Behavioral Health administrative and clinical team. Quaitra has over 20 years in the healthcare industry, in addition to her community service in various leadership roles.
Quaitra holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Community Education and Counseling. Quaitra developed a strong devotion to supporting people, whether they are individuals, families, or workplace teams. Her years of leadership experience gave her a deep appreciation for supporting teams as they set out to accomplish goals.
Quaitra is responsible for building strong connectivity between operations and the clinical staff to ensure that the clients have the best experience possible.
Tiana Dingle – BS Health Sciences, MS in Management
Tiana Dingle joined Mending Hearts as the Billing Contractor in 2019. Before Mending Hearts, she dedicated fifteen years to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in various roles, from Registrar and Research Charge Review Manager to Assistant Director in Clinical Trials Financial Management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from James Madison University and a master’s degree in Management from Rosemont College. Tiana currently lives in Mt. Laurel, NJ, with her husband Joseph and three beautiful children. Together she and Joseph are actively serving South Jersey and Greater Philadelphia area through community and relationship-building efforts with their non-profit organization, The Remnant.
Dr. Angel Windham, DSW, LCSW, CCS

Dr. Angel Windham is the Clinical Supervisor for Mending Hearts Behavioral Health & Family Services. Dr. Angel has experience providing therapy, consultation, and supervision in various treatment settings (IOP, OP, Private Practice, etc.). Dr. Angel has also worked as a School-Based Counselor as well as in community work with at-risk youth. Dr. Angel has over 20 years of experience in the social work field and loves to work with individuals to help build their life functioning to the best optimal level. Dr. Angel holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lincoln University, a Master’s in Social Work from Kean University, and a Doctorate in Social Work from Capella University. Dr. Angel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Angel is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers. In addition to her academia, Dr. Angel is a wife, and mother to two sons, and wears other hats which include daughter and friend. Dr. Angel holds the title of a child of God as her most important accomplishment and incorporates Christian principles in her work with clients and those she supervises who are also of the Christian faith.
